Francesco Giopp
I grew up in Feltre, under the Vette Feltrine, and now live in Brianza, north of Milan.
I studied engineering, and by day I work in IT in Milan.
I remain a perpetual student: there is no end to the subject.
What I do
I design new architectural solutions, and stay with them until they really work.
I look after cloud infrastructure: automation, monitoring and, when something breaks, finding out why.
I write about what I learn in the notes below, mostly in Italian.
What I like
The mountains, above all: the Vette Feltrine where I grew up and, since I moved to Lombardy, the Grigne, Val Masino and Valmalenco. I climb, hike and run. I train in the morning, before the rest of the day begins.
I like living with little: fewer things, fewer subscriptions, more time. But I love driving my BMW.
